Was born in China, went to Canada for further study after high school. Had a fine arts background before focusing on industrial design. Able to work in a creative ecosystem thriving with positive synergy, and with a collaborative team that produces works that satisfy the client and the end-users needs both poetically and functionally. Design innovative objects that reflect a critical understanding of contemporary art, craft, and design issues. Influenced by Chinese and Canadian cultures, thus have a more active point of view on design thinking. “ Design and art are inseparable because both have the soul in it, so the emotional expression of product design is important to me.”
